Municipal Manager: Thys Giliomee
The Municipal Manager heads the administration arm of Prince Albert Municipality, acting as the Accounting Officer and principal link between the Council and the operational departments.
Appointed by Council, the Municipal Manager is responsible for overseeing the Municipality's strategic management, financial accountability and service delivery performance.
The Municipal Manager leads the drafting, implementation and monitoring of the Municipality's core business plan — the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) — which is executed through the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP).
By providing professional leadership, ensuring compliance with legislation, and promoting good governance, the Municipal Manager drives the Municipality's commitment to delivering sustainable, efficient and equitable services to the residents of Prince Albert, Klaarstroom, Prince Albert Road and Leeu-Gamka.

The Corporate and Community Services Department oversees key internal and external services that support municipal operations and promote community wellbeing.
