Supporting municipal operations and promoting community wellbeing.

The Corporate and Community Services Department is at the heart of Prince Albert Municipality's connection to its people. As a key administrative and service-focused arm of the Municipality, the department plays a vital role in supporting both internal operations and outward-facing community programmes. Its work touches nearly every household — from the parks we enjoy and the libraries we visit, to the housing applications we administer and the records that keep our government accountable.

The department is responsible for a wide range of essential services that enable good governance, strengthen community engagement and support long-term development. These include human resource management, public amenities, library services, housing administration, contract and committee management, integrated development planning and performance monitoring. It also oversees local economic development initiatives aimed at building a more inclusive and resilient economy.

Whether it's enabling access to public services, supporting council processes or building partnerships for local growth, the department's work is people-centered and impact-driven. By coordinating these functions across Prince Albert, Klaarstroom, Leeu-Gamka and surrounding areas, Corporate and Community Services ensures that municipal administration is not only effective, but meaningful to those it serves.
