Notice is hereby given that the Municipal Council, at its Special Meeting held on Friday, 23 January 2026, noted and approved the 2024/2025 Draft Annual Report in terms of Section 127(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 (MFMA).

Members of the public are hereby invited to inspect the documents and submit written representations or comments. Any person who is unable to read or submit comments in writing may approach the municipal offices, where assistance will be provided.

The closing date for written representations is 15:30 on Monday, 16 February 2026.

NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 33 OF THE MUNICIPAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 56 OF 2003)

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 33(1)(a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 56 of 2003) that it is the intention of the Prince Albert Municipality to conclude contracts which will impose financial obligations on the municipality beyond a financial year, and beyond the three years covered in the annual budget for the 2025/2026 financial year.
