2025/2026 Grant-In-Aid & Sponsorship of Events Applications
The Municipality yearly provides financial and material assistance to civil society organisations that share a common mission of improving the quality and economic life for residents and business within the Greater Prince Albert Municipal Area, especially those from previously disadvantaged communities. This forms part of the town’s social investment and one of its development programmes which is aligned to the Municipality’s Integrated Development Plan.
A call for applications for Grant-In-Aid and sponsorships for major events for the 2025/2026 financial year will be open from 28 April 2026. Applications are invited from registered organisations that meet the criteria as per the Grant-In-Aid Policy. Organisations within the following sectors are considered for support:
• Sports, Culture, and Recreation
• Early Childhood Development
• Economic & tourism development and marketing
• Schools requesting to utilize municipal facilities.
• Hosting of major events including, sporting events, arts & culture, festivals etc.
• Social Welfare
• Skills Development
