Council at its Ordinary meeting held on Thursday, 19 March 2026 considered and adopted the revisions to the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) 2025/2026. The performance agreements of the Municipal Manager and Directors have been revised in line with the approved SDBIP.

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, hereby invite the public, civil society, public instutitions, interested stakeholders and all three spheres of government to provide comments towards the Review of the White Paper on Local Government by responding to the document.

COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place in the Council Chambers, Church Street, Prince Albert, 6930 on 25 March 2026, starting at 11:00.  Tenderers who arrive late (after 11:15) will not be allowed to join the clarification meeting.Tenderers should be represented at the clarification meeting by an employee of the Tenderer who is suitably qualified and experienced to comprehend the implications of the work involved.  No representative at the meeting may represent more than one Tenderer.

2024/2025 FINAL ANNUAL REPORT AND OVERSIGHT REPORT 

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 129(3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, read together with Section 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, No. 32 of 2000, that the Prince Albert Municipality hereby makes public the Final Annual Report and Oversight Report for the 2024/2025 financial year. 

These reports were tabled before the Municipal Council at a meeting held on Friday, 27 February 2026.
